Our Story
When I started Aquawax, it was for one reason — to pursue my passion. My mother always encouraged me to follow what I loved, and she promised to support me no matter the path I chose. When I told her I wanted to dedicate my life to detailing cars, she was happy for me — but also a little confused. She asked, “You want to wash cars for a living? That won’t pay the bills.”
That’s when I explained the difference: detailing is not washing.
A simple car wash only removes surface dirt — often at the cost of your paint’s health. Those stiff, contaminated brushes used on hundreds of cars before yours leave behind swirl marks — those tiny circular scratches that show up under sunlight and rob your car of its true shine. Detailing, however, is an art. It’s about restoring and protecting a vehicle at the highest level, ensuring the finish is flawless and protected long-term. Funny enough, many luxury car manuals specifically warn owners to never take their car through an automatic wash only a proper hand wash.
